This is a lovely pair of antique single-arm sconces, in their original, beautifully aged silver plate over brass, circa 1910. Each sconce features a sleek oval back plate with an intricate arm formed of volutes and acanthus leaves. An understated shade holder dangles from the arm, supporting a simple, four-sided shade. These silver plated wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 4 1/8” wide, 8 ¾” tall, and have a projection of approx. 5 ¼”. Two matching chandeliers are available, listed under item # NC584-RW and NC587-RW.
