Description
Gorgeous antique four-light semi-flush mount chandelier, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in St. Louis, MO. The unusual light begins with an understated canopy; four foliate-embellished bands extend outwards from the canopy to support a ring made of swirling volutes. Four cloth-covered cords suspend below each band at different lengths creating a cascading effect; each cord holds an exposed bulb. This ceiling-mount light fixture is in very good antique condition with its original polychrome finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 16-1/2″ in diameter and 35″ in overall length (not including bulbs).
