An amazing antique figural six-light Spanish Revival chandelier with shield details, dating from the 1920’s, and retaining its original, darkened nickel and brass finish. The chandelier begins with a pie-crust canopy that comes down in chain to a decorative loop finial. Below, a cluster of six bands descend to form the light’s open body and curl outwards to support pie-crust edged bobeches finished with twisted spike finials. Interspersed between each bobeche are cast brass medallions ornamented with an alternating motif of crests, lions, and castles. The fixture finishes in a larger and complementary, twisted spike finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21-1/2″ wide and 19″ tall, and the fixture is 33″ long overall.
