A fabulous antique door knob set in the “Villa” pattern by Russell & Erwin c. 1890. The Eastlake doorknobs feature a flowing twofold design of stylized vines and volutes, a motif that is found throughout the coordinating hardware. Each doorknob measures 2-1/8” in diameter and is 2-3/8″ deep; the plate measures 2-1/4” wide and 7-5/8” tall; the rosette measures 2-1/8” in diameter; the keyhole cover measures 1-1/4” wide by 1-3/4” tall; the thumb turn measures 1-1/4” wide and 1-3/4” tall. The lock has a 2-5/8” backset; the lock body is 3-3/8” deep and 4-7/8” tall. Its faceplate measures 1” wide and 7” tall. The set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, a plate, a rosette, a keyhole escutcheon, a thumb turn, and one mortise lock (enough hardware for one door).
