Description
This is a beautiful antique American jeweled stained glass window, circa 1900. The window features a highly stylized four-petal flower, formed of pale periwinkle blue moss glass and ripple glass, with a gorgeous clear faceted jewel in the center. The flower rests on a background of slightly deeper periwinkle hammered glass, accented at the corners with diamond-shaped ripple glass. The picture is surrounded by a triple border of varying shades and textures. The window is in very good antique condition with a tight, barely noticeable hairline near the bottom petal of the flower (pictured). The frame is in good condition, with some peeling paint. The window measures 24 ¾” wide and 33 ¼” tall, with a frame 1 3/8” thick. The glass measures 19 ¾” wide and 29 ½” tall.
