Description
This is an elegant antique five-light Neoclassical chandelier in its original silver plate with prisms and a gorgeous iridescent porcelain center. Dating from the 1930’s, the chandelier begins with a foliate loop finial, with an iridescent porcelain baluster below. The base of the baluster is encircled with anthemia, each of which is hung with a teardrop prism. A twisted pole, finishing in a smooth glass ball, runs down the center of the chandelier. The silver plated chandelier arms, ornamented with a finely detailed pattern, support foliate bobeches with teardrop prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¼” wide and 20 ¾” tall, and the fixture is 39” long overall.
