This is a gorgeous antique five-light Neoclassical chandelier in its original silver plate over brass, circa 1910. The chandelier begins with a gadrooned canopy ornamented with a guilloche pattern. Below, the chandelier body is crowned with an elegant acanthus loop finial, coming down into a silver plated chandelier body. Five arms formed of substantial volutes support beaded wax pans and candle cups. The underside of the chandelier features bead-and-reel detail and a dangling tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ¼” wide and 14 ½” tall, and the fixture is 33” long overall.
