This is a gorgeous antique three-light brass chandelier, circa 1910, with amazing hand cut crystal shades. The fixture begins with a japanned canopy ornamented with a foliate border, joined to the sleek chandelier body by three chains. Hanging from the edges of the chandelier body are three brass shade holders ornamented with an abstract foliate pattern. Each shade holder supports a gorgeous wheel cut crystal shade. Each shade features an ellipse pattern at the top, followed by a delicate lattice pattern. An intricate, hand cut flower and leaf design forms the border at the bottom of each shade. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a lovely patina. The shades are also in excellent condition with just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17 ½” wide and 11” tall, and the fixture is approx. 27” long overall.
