This is a wonderful antique three-light Neoclassical chandelier, c. 1905, with original shades. The chandelier begins with a beautifully ornamented canopy that repeats the shape of the chandelier body. It comes down in a pole to a brass body with an egg-and-dart border and a radial, web-like design, finishing in an acorn finial. Three chains, connected to hooks near the canopy, drape down to the edges of the chandelier body. Three arms with smooth shade holders support bell-shaped milk glass shades. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The width of the chandelier is 21 ¼”, the length of the chandelier from the top of the arms to the bottom of the shades is 8”, and the overall length is 32”.
