Description
This is a gorgeous pair of antique Art Nouveau single-arm sconces, circa 1910, in their original silver plate with blue enamel. The sconces feature an oval back plate covered in silver flowers and leaves on a blue enamel background. A sleek, silver plated arm extends from the center of the backplate to support a silver plated bobeche ornamented on the underside with a delicate repetition of the intricate blue and silver floral pattern. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. These sconces measure 4 ¼” wide, 9 ½” tall, and have a 7” projection.
