Description
This is a delightful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and retaining its original vibrant polychrome finish with touches of gold, turquoise, and coral. The chandelier begins with a cream-colored canopy swathed in leaves with teal accents, and comes down in a chain to loop finial resting in a foliate crown. Below, five cream-colored bands with turquoise-colored foliate appliqués come down to form the chandelier body, with a smooth teal pole running down the center. Each band is accented by a charming teal floret with a coral-colored center. Five curled chandelier arms, fastened to the chandelier with teal bands, support gold crown-like wax pans with sleek teal candle cups. The chandelier finishes in a foliate appliqué with a dangling foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21” wide and 23” tall, and the fixture is 42” long overall.
