Description
This is a fabulous ca. early 1900’s / late 1800’s aged brass pendant. It has a modest shade holder and a ribbed bell-shaped canopy. The beauty of this light fixture is in the magnificent iridescent acid etched shade. The shade has a bell form and an intricately etched swan in a vibrant lily pond. The pendant casts a beautifully glowing light and is in very good antique condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass just the expected flea bites around the rim. There are a few minor age splits in the shade holder which are hardly noticeable. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 4 ½”, the length of the pendant only is 8 ½”, and the overall length is 25”.
