A splendid cast brass lion door knocker, found in a home in Maryland. The door knocker retains its original, beautifully aged patina, and features a finely cast lion head gripping the knocker ring. The lion is thought to signify strength, pride, protection, and power. The door knocker measures 3-3/4” wide, 6-1/8” tall, and projects 1-1/2”.
