A charming antique chandelier, dating from the 1930’s, with its original sit-in or “pudding-bowl” shades. The chandelier begins with a streamlined canopy, and comes down in chain to meet a stylized loop finial perched above a glass platform; the platform is surrounded by an understated wreath. A reeded column descends below to the chandelier body, from which five arms extend outward to affix to simple shade-holders; each shade holder supports a delightful custard glass shade. The light finishes with a large complementary bottom shade. This fixture is in very good condition with the expected wear, and the shades are in good antique condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 21-1/2” wide, 18-1/2” tall (body only), and 27-1/2” long overall.
