Description
This is a delightful antique cast iron two-light chandelier, c. 1925, in its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy with turquoise and coral crests, and comes down in a chain to an oblong cream-colored body with a dentil border and a turquoise shield design flanked by intertwined rope detail. A crenellated bobeche hangs from each end of the chandelier, and a finial dangles from the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 12 ¾” wide, 12” tall, and 24 ¼” long overall.
