Description
This is a delightful pair of antique Neoclassical single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original, beautifully aged cream-colored finish. They feature a very nice looped ribbon design around the back plate, repeated in a smaller version with foliate detail on the sconce arm and the bobeche. A charming tassel finial dangles from the underside of the bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 11 ½” tall, 4 5/8” wide, and protrude 5 ½” from the wall.
