Description

An elegant complete working thumb-latch set for an exterior door by Corbin, dating from the 1930’s. This door hardware set consists of a large exterior handle with a thumb latch, an interior glass knob and rosette, thumb turn, lock cylinder escutcheon, and mortise lock; the cast bronze handle features a distinctive design on the top and bottom. The simplicity of this set lends it to work with a variety of styles; it is in very good antique condition. The larger handle measures 10-3/8” tall, 2-1/4” wide with a 2″ projection and the interior knob is 2-3/8″ in diameter with a 2-3/8″ projection, and the rosette is 2-1/8” diameter. The mortise faceplate measures 7-1/2″ tall by 1-1/4″ wide and the body is 5-1/4″ tall by 3-5/8″ wide with a 2-3/4″ backset.
