Description
This is a wonderful antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish with rose, green, and blue accents. The chandelier begins with a beautifully detailed canopy with cutouts, coming down in a chain to an elongated finial with floret and leaf detail. Five stylized flowers, featuring a rose-colored floret and green leaves, come down from the finial to the lower section of the chandelier. The five chandelier arms, ornamented with green leaves, rise gracefully from the chandelier to hold bobeches accented with green foliate finials. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17” wide and 24” long, and the fixture is approx. 38 ½” long overall.
