Description

This is a charming antique cast iron semi-flush mount light fixture, c. 1925, in its original polychrome finish. The two-light chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy with flowers, and comes down in a pole to an oblong cream-colored body ornamented with anthemia, bellflowers, and volutes. A cutout bobeche with an anthemion pattern hangs from each end of the chandelier, and a polychrome finial dangles from the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 12 ¾” wide and 11 ½” tall.
