This is a lovely antique single-light lantern-style pendant, dating from the 1920’s. This hexagonal lantern features open, Gothic arch, honey-colored leaded glass panels, accented at each edge with a beautiful volute appliqué. A crystal ball hangs inside the lantern, echoed by teardrop prisms dangling from the point of each arch. The base of the lantern is finished in an intricate acanthus appliqué, from which hangs a second crystal ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is in very good condition with just a tiny chip from the bottom corner of one piece (pictured) which was only noticeable upon close inspection, and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 7 ¾” wide, the lantern only is 17 ½” tall, and the fixture is 29” long overall.
