Description

This is a superb antique cast iron fireplace cover. Dating from the late 1800’s, it features a triad of fleurs-de-lis in the center, surrounded by a beaded oval border. The oval is accented with ribbons at top and bottom, with a wreath surrounding it. The beaded border is repeated around the perimeter of the summer cover. This summer cover is in very good antique condition with some rust. It measures 26 ¾” tall and 20” wide.
