This is a beautiful antique five-light chandelier with hand-blown prisms, circa 1910, in its original, beautifully worn silver plate finish over brass. The chandelier, made and signed by Williamson, is crowned with a gorgeous acanthus loop finial, coming down into a gadrooned section with an intricate rope border. Five slender, reeded arms extend from the underside of the chandelier body, alternating with amazing hand-blown prisms. The underside is ornamented with delicate grapevines, and extends downward in feathery foliate detail. The chandelier is finished in a long, intricately cast finial with foliate and grape detail. Each arm of the chandelier supports a cutout bobeche with a foliate pattern. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a lovely patina; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18” wide and 12 ¾” tall, and the overall length of the chandelier is 30 ¾”.
