Description
This is a superb pair of antique Art Nouveau single-arm sconces with prisms, c. 1910, in their original silver plate over brass. Each sconce features a backplate ornamented with graceful acanthus leaves and volutes. A long foliate appliqué follows the sconce arm to a leafy bobeche hung with icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 11 ½” tall, 4” wide, and project 6 ½” from the wall.
