Description
This is a beautiful pair of antique double-arm sconces with prisms, dating from the 1920’s. The back plate of each sconce is bordered in a leaf-and-berry pattern and crowned with volutes and florets. A floret button, surrounded by a wreath, accents the center of each back plate. The sconce arms, adorned with volutes, curve outward from the base of the back plate to support simple silver plated brass bobeches. Four elegant “icicle” prisms hang from each bobeche. The wall lamps are in excellent condition with a wonderful patina; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 8 ¾” wide, 12” tall, and project 4 ¾” from the wall.
