Description
This is a superb cast bronze antique gas chandelier from the 1880’s, now wired for electricity. The chandelier consists of three leaf-and-dart detailed rods that join together to house the center light. It retains its original acid-etched glass shade, which features an intricate Greek key and laurel wreath design. We have tried to capture the fabulous pattern which the shade casts on the wall; however, our pictures can’t do it justice. The light fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. For the collectors out there, we have not drilled the gas key. The overall diameter is 10”, the length of the chandelier only is 27 ½”, and the overall length is 39 ½”.
