Description

This is a splendid antique cast bronze door pull with a thumb latch, made by Reading Hardware in the late 19th Century in their “Elaine” pattern. This door hardware is signed with Reading Hardware’s “RHC” logo on the back. The plate features an intricately cast patterned background with a looped rope border. A row of circles flanked by fan shapes runs across the center of the plate. The handle features a beautiful repetition of the plate design, finished at top and bottom with ornamented finials. This Eastlake door handle is in excellent condition with a gorgeous patina. It measures 2 ¾” wide and 13 ¼” long overall.
