Description

This is a wonderful antique brass five-light chandelier with verdigris accents and prisms, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with foliate detail and a delightful floral border. Below, the chandelier body begins with a foliate loop finial bordered at the bottom with rope detail. The chandelier body is ornamented with rope designs and leaves. Five reeded chandelier arms descend in a J-curve to support cutout bobeches ornamented with an alternating fleur-de-lis and anthemion pattern and hung with sparkling icicle prisms. The chandelier finishes in an elegant foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17” wide and 13” tall, and the fixture is 30” long overall.
