This is a wonderful antique five-light cast iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a volute loop, coming down into a cage-like body accented with polychrome florets. Surrounding the body is a heavy cast iron ring, ornamented both above and below with leaf detail and supporting flower-like cast iron bobeches. The chandelier finishes in a tear-drop shaped finial with a floret in the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¼” wide and 19 ¾” tall, and the fixture is 37 ½” long overall.
