This is a wonderful antique brass five-light chandelier with prisms, dating from the 1920’s and retaining its original red and gold polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with an intricate loop finial atop a baluster body. Five brass arms curve out from the chandelier body, each ornamented at the top with gold leaves ornamented with a red patera and hung with a teardrop prism. The downward-facing bobeches feature a red band pattern and a cutout border with scallops. The chandelier finishes in a dangling tassel. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 16 ½” tall, and the fixture is 32” long overall.
