Description

This is a charming antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a gorgeous canopy ornamented with red and gold foliate appliqués, and comes down in a chain to a loop finial ornamented with polychrome leaves, beads, and florets. Hammered bands form the body of the chandelier, fastened with red and yellow florets. Each chandelier arm ends in a curl, supporting a simple bobeche. The chandelier finishes in a polychrome finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17 ½” wide and 24” tall, and the fixture is 40” long overall.
