Description
This is a wonderful pair of antique single-arm brass sconces with original milk glass shades, dating from the 1920’s. The sconce features a sleek oval back plate with a nicely detailed arm extending from the center to support a dangling brass shade holder covered in delicate leaves. The gadrooned milk glass shade is encircled with a garland pattern. These wall lamps are in good antique condition with a couple of minor cracks in the brass (pictured) and some dings to the back plate (see photos). The shades are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These sconces measure 4 5/8” wide overall, 12” tall, and have a projection of approx. 5”. A matching pair of sconces with different shades is listed under item # NSP396-RW. A coordinating chandelier is also listed under item # NC645-RW.
