This is a wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces with prisms, in their original silver plate over brass. Patent dated 1924, the sconces feature an oval backplate with a floral center and a torsade border, crowned with an acanthus cluster. Two reeded arms extend from the base of the backplate to support sleek silver plated wax pans and candle cups, each hung with a trio of icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 12 ½” tall, 8 ¾” wide, and project 4 ½” from the wall. A matching pair of sconces with glass shades is available under item # NSP420-RW.
