This magnificent set of two matching chandeliers dates to the early 1900’s and retains the original two toned darkened silver with dark brass accents finish. The chandeliers start with a hand hammered canopy below which is the chandelier cluster detailed with trefoils and addorsed dogs. Five chains hanging from the cluster support the chandelier’s wide disk body that has trefoil extensions for chandelier arms that hold faux riveted bobeches and are supported by pairs of addorsed stylized dogs. The chandeliers are signed by their maker, Virden Lighting Co. They are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall width is 18”, the length from the top of the cluster to the bottom of the chandelier is 29 ½”, and the overall length is 36”. The matching three-light chandelier is also available with item number NC321-RW. The price is for one chandelier; there are two available.
