Description

This is a fabulous antique five-light semi-flush brass chandelier, c. 1920’s, with amber teardrop prisms. The chandelier retains its original finish with dark turquoise blue accents. The chandelier begins with an intricate canopy ornamented with acanthus leaves, connected by curled bands to the chandelier body. Each band is accented with a foliate appliqué. Reeded, S-curved arms extend from the chandelier to support turquoise bobeches bordered in intricate brass acanthus. The bottom of the chandelier finishes in an acanthus border with five amber teardrop prisms, with a sleek pear-shaped prism in the middle. This flush mount light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18” tall and 19” wide.
