This is an amazing antique five-light Art Deco chandelier. Dating from the 1930’s, the cast iron chandelier retains its original polychrome finish. The chandelier body begins with a harp-like decorative section composed of geometric shapes and subtly colored roses. Below, the chandelier features a stunning underside. It begins with a five-petal flower in a ribbed circle bordered with acanthus and stylized pineapples. The arms radiate from the center and feature a beaded edge. Each supports a downward-facing bobeche with a cutout border. The arms are connected by intricate bands of volutes and geometric detail. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 15” wide and 13” tall (without bulbs), and the fixture is 28” long overall (without bulbs).
