Description
This is a beautiful antique five-light chandelier, in its original silver plate over brass with brass accents and hand pulled prisms. Circa 1910, this silver plated chandelier begins with a simple loop finial in a flower-like glass section atop a reeded glass column. Five slender brass rods come up from the column, each accented with a glass floret and an opalescent, hand blown prism. Below, five sleek silver plated arms extend outward to support glass bobeches, each hung with a graceful, hand pulled prism. The bobeches are connected by a garland of round glass beads. The chandelier finishes in an elongated, silver plated finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The width of the chandelier is 18”, the length of the chandelier body only is 21”, and the overall length is 37”.
