Description
This is a beautiful pair of antique double-arm mirrored sconces with crystal prisms, circa 1910. These brass Georgian sconces feature lovely hand-cut mirrors with a floral design that seems to spring up from the foliate appliqué at the base of each mirror. Two sleek brass arms curve upward from the bottom of the sconce to accept understated bobeches, each ornamented with a splendid zipper-cut crystal prism. These wall lamps are in very good condition with beautifully aged wheel-cut mirrors. One mirror does have a small chip (pictured), which is barely noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the sconce. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They measure 8 ½” wide, 13 ¼” tall overall, and have a projection of 4 ½”.
