Description
This is a wonderful pair of antique double-arm Spanish Revival sconces, made of cast brass and dating from the 1920’s, with a fantastic patina. Each sconce features a hammered backplate crowned with a loop and ornamented with a spear-like design flanked by volutes. A double arm runs across the lower part of the backplate, with a bobeche on each end. Each bobeche features a series of vertical cutouts and a charming decorative handle, and is finished below with a finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 9 3/8” tall, 10 ¼” wide, and project 4” from the wall.
