Description
This is a remarkable pair of late 19th century double arm bronze sconces in Adam style. The sconces have graceful slender back plates with elegant urn-shaped top finials and stylized acorn bottom finials. Pinned by small round bands, the modest C-curved with volute finials sconce arms, sprout up to accept the unimposing bell-like bobeches. The wall lamps are in excellent condition and they have been professionally rewired. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. They are 16” long, 8 ¼” wide, and protrude 4 ½” from the wall.
