Description

This is a splendid set of eleven matching Gothic Revival lanterns, dating from the first part of the 20th Century. Beginning with a diamond-shaped finial with a quatrefoil cutout, each lantern-style pendant comes down into six panels, each crowned with a triangular arch with a magnificent trefoil design. The base of each panel is finished in a geometric “X” design surrounded by a simple border. The lanterns have been fitted with seedy glass, giving them a beautiful visual texture. These light fixtures are in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. Each lantern measures 11 ½” wide, 28 ½” tall (lantern only), and 51” tall overall.
