Description
This is a delightful antique three-light cast brass pendant in its original polychrome finish with unusual turquoise accents, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a brass volute finial adorned with a five-petal floret with aqua accents, coming down to a bold turquoise section that supports the trio of faux-hammered bands forming the chandelier body. A slender brass pole runs down the center of the chandelier, securing the platform on which the three bobeches rest. Each bobeche is encircled by a series of pointed turquoise tabs, joined by a band, alternating with small scallops. The bottom of the chandelier repeats the tab and band pattern and is finished in a small tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 7 ¾” wide, 19 ½” tall (body only), and 37” long overall. This is part of a complete matching set of antique lighting that includes this three-light pendant, a pair of five-light chandeliers, and a pair of sconces (sconces are sold), sold separately under item numbers NC507-RW, NC508-RW, and NSP333-RW.
