Description

This is a wonderful pair of antique single-arm brass sconces with glass shades, dating from the 1920’s. The sconce features a sleek oval back plate with a simple arm receiver bowl ornamented with an urn-shaped finial. A smooth arm curves upward to support a flower-like shade. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These sconces measure 4 5/8” wide, 9 ½” tall, and have a 7” projection. They can be mounted with the shades facing either upward or downward.
