This is an amazing antique five-light bronze chandelier, dating from the first part of the 20th Century, with crystal prisms. The chandelier begins with a bronze loop finial in a scalloped bowl hung with teardrop prisms and crystal pendalogues. A bronze baluster runs the length of the chandelier, with curled bronze bands forming the chandelier body. The bands are festooned with round beads, gorgeous pendalogues, and sleek teardrop prisms. Smooth chandelier arms, hung with crystal pendalogues, support scalloped bobeches with small teardrop prisms. The arms are connected by a garland of beads supported by delicate glass rings. Hanging from each glass ring is a large prism. The chandelier finishes in a large, heavy crystal pear. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ½” wide and 31” tall, and the fixture is 47 ½” long overall.
