Description

This is a splendid antique Georgian five-light cast bronze chandelier with crystal prisms, dating from the 19th Century. This flush-mount light fixture features a foliate border. Four dangling bobeches, hung by intricately cast acanthus clusters and bordered in an egg-and-dart pattern, hang inside the border. Each is ornamented with brilliant crystal prisms. Inside, a second foliate border surrounds the center of the fixture, which comes down in stunning leaf detail to a fifth bobeche, also hung with crystal. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier is 19” wide and 21 ½” tall.
