This is a breathtaking and rare late 19th century three-light hexagonal lantern. It retains its original two toned finish. The pendant starts with a bronze hexagonal canopy below which is a twisted rod that ends in a large loop finial. The lanterns body is made of six arched steel panels that taper down to a nicely cast bronze rope border. The frame houses the original ribbed glass panels which are alternating from lighter to slightly darker honey color. The pendant casts a beautifully glowing light and retains its original hinged bottom door. The lantern is in excellent condition. There are no breaks or cracks to the glass. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 14” and the overall length is 32”.
