Description
This is a splendid pair of antique single-arm sconces with teardrop prisms and gilded arms. Dating from the 1920’s, the sconces retain their original, beautifully aged polychrome finish. The backplate of each sconce features bead detail and acanthus leaves with red accents. A gilded arm receiver bowl in the center of the backplate supports an S-curved, gold-plated arm. The arm supports a gadrooned bobeche with a beaded edge and smooth teardrop prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 15” tall, 3 ½” wide, and project 8 ¾” from the wall. A matching chandelier is listed under item # NC665-RW.
