Description

This is a splendid antique Spanish Revival cast bronze five-light chandelier, circa 1930, featuring a shield motif. The chandelier begins with a volute loop finial with twists on the sides, below which five curled bands support finely cast bronze crests adorned with a rippled ribbon. Below, C-curved bronze bands support the chandelier arms, each of which ends in a crenelated bobeche with a shield below. The chandelier finishes in a loop finial with twisted sides. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18” wide and 18 ½” tall, and the fixture is 34 ½” long overall.
