This is a superb antique Spanish Revival cast bronze five-light chandelier with a shield motif, dating from the 1920’s and retaining its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a loop finial atop a hammered rod; five curled bronze bands rise from the body of the chandelier to the base of the finial. The chandelier features bracket-style bronze arms with foliate detail, each arm supports a cutout bobeche. Between each arm is a red and blue crest, surrounded by volute detail and supported by twisted bronze bands. The center of the chandelier is ornamented with red leaves and finishes in a foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 21” tall, and the fixture is 36 ½” long overall.
