This is a beautiful antique five-light chandelier in its original silver plate over pewter and brass, dating from the 1930’s. The chandelier begins with an elegant loop finial, coming down into a sleek baluster body. Five silver plated arms, beautifully shaped and accented with small finials, radiate outward to support unusual bobeches, each finished with a loop finial and accented with two tiers of elongated cutouts. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish and a couple of small dents in the rod beneath the canopy (pictured); these are barely noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the fixture. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ¾” wide and 21” tall, and the fixture is 37 ½” long overall.
