Description

This is a delightful pair of antique five-light iron chandeliers, in their original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. Each chandelier begins with a volute loop finial, supporting a ring to which five curled iron bands are fastened with three-dimensional florets. The bands flare out to form a cage-like body, and angle back, fastened with a second set of floral buttons to a cylinder topped with a foliate appliqué and finial. Extending up from the body, the bands curl at the ends, supporting foliate bobeches. These light fixtures are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each chandelier body measures 18 ½” wide and 13 ¼” tall, and the fixtures are 33” long overall. ONLY ONE CHANDELIER IS AVAILABLE.
